I guess this is one for the guys, but when watching Poker live or on the television, I do like it when there’s a lady playing, and like it even more if she’s a looker, as well as a good Poker player! Hey! Don’t bawl me out, I’m just an ordinary red-bloodied bloke! So here are 10 female Poker players that have the X Factor for being a delight on the eye as well as feisty on the flop, Raunchy on the River, and Tasty on the Turn!
1. Tina Wallman
Tina, the 29 year old German/Australian model, has charms in a big way, and talent at the table. She’s known as the Queen of Hearts.
2. Evelyn Ng
Ng, was born in Toronto, Canada in 1975, and first started her gaming career in the pool halls of the city at the age of 14. Ng then moved on to dealing blackjack and poker at the age of 17. She met World Famous pro Daniel Negreanu around that time and, as the two dated, he tutored her in poker until she became a definitive force in the cash games of Toronto. She’s looking forward to winning her first championship anytime soon!
3. Jennifer “Jennicide” Leigh
A successful poker player (with one WSOP cash win) she is also famous for posing for Playboy, has a reputation as a hacker and a high ranking as a World of Warcraft player- or so my son tells me!!
4. Liv Boree
Our British Beauty with brains, Liv is a Team PokerStars Pro, and has hosted TV Poker shows. She also did very well on last year’s Christmas University Challenge quiz show!
5. Shannon Elizabeth
When the chips are down, Shannon is guaranteed to get the blood racing and the cards flippin’. She hails from Houston, Texas and has an interesting pedigree: Her father is Lebanese/Syrian and her mother is of Irish, English, German and Cherokee descent! She will be playing for Team Lebanon at the World Team Poker event in Las Vegas. Good luck to her! She’s also an actress and been in many films and TV series. Multitalented lady! 6. Liz Lieu
Cool and collected, Liz was born in Vietnam, and since embracing Poker has been featured on the cover of such publications as Deal, American Poker Player, Maxim’s Total Poker, Woman Poker Player, World Poker Tour, Flush, and Pro Poker Europe!
7. Annie Duke
Now this player has some silverware in the cupboard and on the mantelpiece: She won a bracelet in the 2004 World Series of Poker $2,000 Omaha Hi-Low Split-8 or Better Event and was the winner of the 2004 World Series of Poker Tournament of Champions, where she earned the Winner-Take-All prize of $2,000,000! In 2010 she won the National Heads-Up Poker Championship, earning a cash prize of $500,000 in addition to the title. Wow!
8. Tatjana Pasalic
Born in Bosanska Gradiška, Bosnia and Herzegovina, at the age of 19 she moved to Denmark and started getting interested in online poker and has been playing ever since. Being a poker blogger and a presenter, she met many people in the filming industry which resulted with her interest in making documentaries about Sarajevo, a city she is very fond of. After living in Malta for work purposes, she moved to Edinburgh, Scotland and last year moved to England. Her other passion is cooking!
9. Sabina Gadecki
Sabina was born in Chicopee, Massachusetts and is an actress and model as well as Poker player. She acted as host for the fifth season of the World Poker Tour which aired on the Travel Channel network. She is a former 2002 Miss Polonia World and Miss Western Massachusetts. As a model she has appeared in Seventeen, Redbook, and Premiere.
10. Lacey Jones
she was hired as official hostess and bracelet presenter of the WSOP. She also served as hostess of the U.S. Poker Bowl for Fox Sports, and the Borgata Poker Open. Additionally, Lacey has been featured in publications like Poker Player Magazine, Wicked Chops Poker, and Woman Poker Player. She had coaching from professional player Mark Seif,and by 2006, she had her first WSOP cash – 75th in the $1K Ladies event for $9K.
